Inflamatory breast cancer. Please help with literature and advice.?I know all about breast cancer, as most of us should. My very close friend has been diagnosed with Inflamatory breast cancer. Her breast is swollen, red, hard and very hot. Plus her nipple has inverted. All this happened in a space of 4 days. Does anybody know anything about this type of cancer and if so, how aggressive is it? she is being a bit blaze about it, but think it may be nerves. thank you.

Has any one been diagnosed with Inflamatory breast cancer?I just had a biopsy on my left breast and the Dr. said it was just inflamation. Then my cousin sent me an email about IBC. I'm really worried that the doc didn't get any piece of the actual lumps. Does any one know what I'm talking about? Please help! Thank you in advance!

What test do you need to find out if its IBC (Inflamatory Breast Cancer)?I'm really worried about my friend. She has had a yellowish brown mark on the underside of her left breast for over a year. She hates me bringing it up, but when she has asked doctors about it, they have put it down to fake tan, a love bite, or dermatitus. She has used creams with no help. So she feels too embarassed to keep bringing it up. It looks like a fading bruise. Its itchy, so has scaly skin. And it is sometimes warm to touch. What can we ask the doctor for to confirm our fears, or put us to rest?? Thanks for your time reading this.

A good pick me up after breast cancer?Im a 35 year old single mom and have been battling inflamatory breast cancer since Nov.05. I started chemo immidiately every week for 6 months followed by a double masectomy this June 06 then 2 months of radiation mon-fri. I just had my 6 week check up and i get a month off until Jan.07 for more chemo (pills this time). I'm very blessed to be here and in no way am i complaining, but I'm in need of a good pick me up and I just can't get the lift i need to enjoy. Is there any suggestions please!! Marti H. Seattle,WA

Tell me what you think is wrong? Please only women, its a women problem.?Ok im gonna make a real long story short. So if its to choppy for you im sorry. I have PCOS, and irregular AF visits. Two years since my last visit AF comes on her own. Put on BC to help regulate, works for atleast three months so far. Between the 2nd and 3rd time i was real crampy, bleed most of two weeks, stopped til the 28th cycle day, and AF came for two days, light. My nipples are sore, once in a while i notice my boobs are sore, but its not constently. (the sore boobs. ) the nipples have been sore for atleast four days now. I took two pregnancy tests both came back inconclusive, i have taken almost 100 tests in my life time, and have never had an inconclusive resualt until the last two. I followed the directions, the same brand i always used. I know that sore nipples are a sign of pregnancy, but if im not, then what could be causing this? Could it be my hormones since they are getting back insink the way they should be? Or could it be Inflamatory breast cancer? Af is aunt flo... (period) BC is birth control. PCOS is polycystic ovary syndrome. Im trying to get pregnant, since my periods werent normal, due to my PCoS my doctor put me on bc to regulate me, then once i was regulated i am to be pulled off, to give me a "push" into getting pregnant..

How can I get help for my disabled mom who lives with me?My mom has inflamatory carcinoma breast cancer and she has come to live with me. I am the only one taking care of her with no other financial support. She has medicare but I need help in my house with her. She is not able to walk very well and recieving a electric wheel chair soon. She can't really cook any more cause her hands don't work, she also has neuropothy from Diabetes. I just don't know what to do to find assistance for her. I need help paying for the extra expenses that my family is encurring to help feed her and pay some of her med. expenses...

Pain in my ribs and if i lift my left arm--had breast reduction Aug 10?for the past 2 and a half weeks i have had pain in my left rib cage which is now radiating to by back, and it is painful to lift my left arm up. I went to the doctor and he did some x-rays, and now i have a CT scan and blood tests scheduled. I am wondering if anyone knows what this could be... i had a breast reduction on August 10th and have had no problems with pain or anything until now. My breasts are also somewhat sore. A few weeks ago i went to my surgeon because i had pain in my right breast and they said that it did not appear to be infected. My left side is very swollen, but has gone down somewhat, due to the fact that i was prescribed an anti-inflamatory. someone please help, all the answers i am finding online say that it could be some form of cancer... and web MDis no help, it just keeps saying a pulminary embolism, fibromyalgia... soo any help would be greatly appreciated!
