Breast cancer, nipple discharge?
I went to the doctors for nipple discharge (reddish brown). She sent me to my GYN and she did a test on the discharge that proved there was no blood in it. She said that was a good thing coupled with the fact also that my mammogram was clear. She still sent the sample in to cytology just to be sure it had no abnormal cells. Is the chance very high that it will come back negative for abnormal cells or is there still a high chance I will have cancer?

- Hey I'm a RN ..I work in OB Gyn and some of the signs and symptoms of Breast CA along with the most common of them being a lump in the breast is a clear or blood tingled discharge from the breast, a change in the shape or contour of the breast..indentation or invertion of the nipples..there is a great website you should check out regarding this...Hope the info helps and Im optimistic that since your mammogram is negative at this time..Your testing will come back negative as well..
