What age are you supposed to start doing breast checks?

I mean when you self-check at home, like in front of a mirror. What age does a woman need to start doing this? And do you know any cool facts, like the age range most people find breast cancer? Im still young I just thought I'd ask since I never self-check at home. I've had the pamphlets before but I jsut never do it.

1. You should start self breast exams when you start menstruating.
   As far as "cool" facts about breast cancer...you're on your own.
   I suggest you read the pamphlets.
2. Medically it is safe to do breast It is better to be done once your breasts have finished growing and it usually takes for full years from the time of the first period ...
3. You can start the SBE (Self Breast Exam) at home at any age you like. It's better to start now so you can come to know what your natural breasts feel like, so if you ever do feel a slight difference, you will notice immediately. Just remember-always do a self breast exam once a month after you get out of the shower.
   
   Use 3 fingers and circle around your breast, pressing down 3 times (pushing light, medium, and hard). Never take your fingers off of your breast when moving to a new spot-you might miss something. It's best to lightly drag your fingers.
   
   When you're infront of a mirror, first raise your arms up to see if either breast looks different from one another. They should look the same while your arms are raised above your head. Secondly, bend forward while infront of the mirror still, and look at how your breasts hang. They should be the same while freely hanging down. Lastly, lay flat on your back *make sure it's the floor-lay on a towel if you like*. Lift your head up slightly and look at how your breasts flow to the side. Again, they should look the same.
   
   If you notice any difference, even just the slightest change, you need to see a doctor and have him/her examine your breasts, and (even though they are painful) possibly get a mammogram.
   
   As for breast cancer facts, as far as I know, you can get it as young as 16.
