Breast cancer tattoo ribbon?

I'm thinking of getting a breast cancer ribbon... because my aunt has breast cancer, and my 'second mom' died of it and so many are afflicted every year by it... what do you think? and where? I like the idea of getting it on the base of my neck or my wrist, but only worry that I would have to cover it up on my wrist at work... Thank you for the idea for the bake sale... I think instead for Christmas instead of gifts I will give $100 in my aunt's name to breast cancer research.

Placements i'd say : Wrist, ankle, hip, behide the ear, back of the shoulder.

    Good Luck

    ADD ON!!!!

Wrist tattoo is a great placement, people will ask you about it and you can spread the message about breast cancer and help other become more informed aswell as telling them your story of your family. INNER wrist tattoos are not as visable as you think beileve me and you can always cover it with a long sleeve, bracelet or a watch.
  2. That sounds like a wonderful idea. It has meaning so you wont regret it. I would say a nice place would be the shoulder blade, or lower neck. :)
  3. cool! on your hip or ankle.
  4. Well i think its really sweet, but how would that make much of a difference, maybe a more effective way would to do fundraisers, and things like that to help find a cure. Yeah get a tattoo if you want, but that doesn't change anything but your appearance-a better way to honor your loved ones affected by this disease, would be to get involved and make a difference for these people and their families. My aunt also died of cancer, I would much rather see a bake sale in which all proceeds go to research, rather that a tattoo.
  5. If its going to be a small one, put it on the inside of your wrist. If its going to be a bit bigger, put it on the front or back on one of your shoulder blades!
  6. that is awesome!! support breast cancer awareness!!
  7. What if you got it small, on your left side (on your ribs), so it's close to your heart? It's usually hidden, so you don't have to worry about a lot of people seeing it.
  8. I think that a wonderful idea I feeling strongly about brest cancer to and you will always have that to remember the women you loved and to be strong, I think on the back of your neck would be a good area
  9. I think maybe right over your heart.
  10. I think it's an awesome idea. It's something you're always going to support no matter what, so I don't see you having regrets about it later on. I want to get the yellow ribbon in support of the troops tattooed on me. I'm getting the yellow ribbon in support of the troops tattooed on me. It's very important to me, and I know I won't regret having it done.

I want mine on my wrist too, but if you're worried about covering it, back of the neck is a great spot too.
  11. I think its a wonderful idea. I have just lost my sister-in-law to breast cancer at the young age of 32. It has been devastating. I watched her suffer for 5 years, in total she had it for 6. It had spread to her lungs brain and then it took over her whole body. Very very sad. I wish your aunt well and tell her to never give up fighting and too stay strong. I'm getting one done in memory of my beautiful sister-in-law, I've seen the one i want on tattojohny.com (i think it was that if not type breast cancer tattoos in to google) lots of choice on there. I hope that helps you x
