- Against...I was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer 8 months ago that spread to 50+ lymph nodes, bones, liver, and lungs...Oh, I'm only 34, so it took 1/2 a year to find a doctor who would take me seriously about the lumps in my breast. I have a 10% chance of living to see 40. I have kids who will still be at home for the next 10 years...
Yes, I'm tired of all the pink ribbon crap, but if it wasn't for awareness, I might have gone to see a doctor in the first place.
- Good choice for best answer. Suzanne, you are in our prayers.
- What kind of question is this????????? No one would ever volunteer to have breast cancer. Dumb question.
- how can you be for or against a disease?
It's not like I can be pro breast cancer and make it illegal to get treatment.
- you are somthing ! my grandmother died from it! your not funny at all!
- I am against breast cancer.
Why am I against breast CANCER? because it kills people so who could ever "support" it???
- If this is supposed to be funny, it's really not. I have had people very close to myself and my family die from breast cancer and it is a very difficult thing to deal with. If you're serious, what an odd question...
- I support breast cancer by donating to fundraiser like Susan Komen Run for the Cure. I am completely against it b/c I don't think anyone should get it.
- What kind of a stupid off the wall question is that? Why in God's name would anyone support breast cancer.. Are you a stark raving idiot? Cancer no matter where it is, is dreadfull and no one deserves it so why would you even think of such a stupid thing?
- I have breast cancer so I am for any organization that is trying to rid the world of cancer.
- I have had breast cancer; since diagnosis four years ago I have met many other women and a couple of men with breast cancer through support networks. Some of them have died, including young women with small children Some are currently faced with the fact that their cancer is terminal. I live with the fear of my grade 3 stage 3 breast cancer returning, and statistically I have a 20 - 40% chance of surviving ten years from diagnosis - that's six more years.
Breast cancer is a deadly disease with disfiguring surgery, grueling treatments and so far no cure. In the UK alone an average of 33 women die from it every single day.
Do you still think your question is in any way clever or funny?
- What kind of a sick question is this?
I was diagnosed with cancer as a toddler; since diagnosis years ago I have met many other children, teenagers and adults with cancer, and let me tell you, it's a horrible disease for everyone. Not only the patient, but their family and friends as well. Once you have survived cancer once you live in constant fear of it returning.
Cancer is a deadly disease with intense treatments, often hard surgery and so far no cure.
Maybe now you'll think twice before asking these kinds of questions again.
