Breast Cancer Symptoms?

I have recently noticed my right breast has become very firm on the outside compared to the left along with small lumps between my armpit and breast, largest feels about the size of a pencil eraser. I wasn't sure if I should be worried so I've been doing a little research and found some of the other symptoms to watch for -- on being an indent around the nipple or a nipple turning inward. Mine now does that, but only when I lay down to do a self breast examine. Should I have it checked out or am I being a little too jumpy. I would really apprieciate anyone's thoughts. Thanks.

  1. Go see a doctor today. Better safe than sorry. What you describe is very suspiscious and should be checked out pronto.
  2. GET CHECKED better be safe than sorry
  3. HI ... I think you should get that checked. I had breast cancer 6 years ago at age 33 and I had felt a little pea size lump. It might be nothing...but with breast cancer the earlier you find it the better it is and the easier to treat.
    Good luck
  4. I am sorry. what all you have written that you seem to have found points very directly to cancer symptoms.i am telling this because,my wife had these and after consulting the doctor, she had treatments - operation, chemotherapy.......
you may not have that,it might be something else, but you are to check with the doctor ,and ascertain. pl.do at the earliest. pl.
  5. Hi. go get this checked out asap. if it is nothing serious at least you will know .but if it is and you dont get it checked .when you do it could be too late .cancer is an evil disease it has no morals it will attack anyone any age so please dont leave it any longer .i wish you all the best xx
  6. Any lumps should be checked out by a doctor.
  7. Call your doctor and ask for an appointment and a mammogram today. It could be nothing but it is safer to be sure.
  8. Go to your family Dr. and have him schedule a mammogram. You will get your mammogram quicker if you go to your family Dr. It sounds a little like my situation, but i couldn't feel a lump under my arm pit. Don't worry until you find out something, and then don't worry if it is something. But just don't sit around and wait for other signs. I waited until my right breast started changing colors. I was diagnosed with ducal carcinoma and it had spread to my lymph nodes, had chemo, mastocemy, re-constructive surgery, radiation. After all the scans mine was in its 3rd stage. Its perfectly ok to be jumpy, if its nothing then you wont have to worry and wonder whats going on. Hope everything is ok! Good Luck!
