I have symptoms of breast cancer. Thing is, I'm only sixteen.?
What do I do if I've got symptoms of breast cancer? Where exactly do I go? Does it cost anything to have a check-up? PS. My mom's...deceased.

- your doctor can do a basic test for you. if he suspects cancer, he can recommend a more thorough testing session with a specialist. usually health insurance will cover most of this. i assume that you are on your parents health insurance policy. if they dont have one, make sure they get one BEFORE you get your testing done, since if you have cancer, you will be much more expensive to insure.

- Start with your mother. It is doubtful that you do have cancer of the breast at the age you are. You should be seeing a gynocologist, and yes it costs money.
- Go see you general doctor or find a gynecologist that is accepting new patients if you don't have one already. A gynecologist is better, but if you only have a general doctor they can check you out and refer you to a gynecologist if necessary.
- Don't worry to much right now. I had a lump in my breast and I worried myself sick! It turned out to be a calcium deposit. Call your local health department, they can steer you in the right direction. Relax until you get it checked out. Or you can call your gyn's office, they can give you a referral to go have an ultrasound or mammogram done. Stressing out will only make things worse for you! Good luck!
- go to the doctor to have it checked out -what u think u have may not be the case -some people get lumps in their breasts from too much caffeine -or it could be swollen lymph nodes -so go to the doctor to ease your worried mind -god bless and good luck

- GO SEE A ONNOCOLOGIST ASAP I WAITED 9 MONTHS AND NOW I LOST MY LEFT BREAST BUT IM STILL ALIVE NEVER WAIT TO SEE A DOCTOR IF U THINK IT IS BREAST CANCER AND I WAS A STAGE 3 I HAD INVASIVE BREAST CANCERIT COST BUT GO TO A FREEHEATH CLINIC NEAR U THATS WHAT I DID DIDNT GET NO WERE SO I JUST WENT TO HOSPITAL AND TOLD THEM I HAD CHEST PAIN AND GUESS WHAT THAY FOUND MY CANCER SO BABY GIRL DONT WAIT GO GET CHECK
