What are the symptoms of breast cancer for men. What do I look for?

  1. The best indicator is a self breast exam. Google it to find out how to do it properly and feel for any abnormalities or lumps.

Any particular reason why you are concerned?
  2. Breasts to start with, but seriously anything that feels out of the ordinary, lumps however small,it may just be swollen glands but you can never be to careful,i check my testicles everyday sometimes 5 to 6 times an hour
  3. I would imagine hard unexplainable lumps. Women do a monthly breast self exam (or should) to check for lumps. Any abnomality should be verified with a doctor. Lumps are not always painful. The monthly check should also check out swelling around the lymph nodes near your armpit.

Here is a good website: www.breastcancer.org. You can BSE instructions under the Symptoms & Diagnosis section.

    Talk to a doctor!

    Good luck!
  4. The scariest thing about cancer is that there are no symptoms... cancer is not painful until you start treating it... If you log on to susangkomen.org it will give you instructions on how to self test.

  5. Check if you have a mass under your nipple, or if there is dischrage coming from the nipple. If your still going through puberty, its normal to find a large lumb in your nipple, painful or not.
