Is inflammatory breast cancer really dangerous?

I came across a video clip at http://cancernewsnetwork.blogspot.com/2006/12/inflammatory-breast-cancer-ibc.html which spoke in depth about inflammatory breast cancer. Is this disease really so dangerous?

1. Any cancer is dangerous because if you don't get it early enough it has the potential to spread to other parts of body and kill you.
   
   I don't know anything about inflammatory breast cancer though and I don't want to look at the clip cause it will make me all depressed and freak out!!
2. yes very very untreated it will kill you
3. A friend of mine was diagnosed with it over 15 years ago. She was given only a 5% chance of survival. She had a mastectomy and some lymph nodes removed, then radiation, and she is still alive! And no sign of recurrance.
4. yes it`s very rare aggressive form of breast carcinomas which occurs in less than 1% of cases
