Inflammatory breast cancer? please help!?

My symptoms are pain in the under arm and in the breast. My breast is sore constantly and the nipple is somewhat flattened. It is also itchy sometimes. I have had a breast MRI and ultrasound. Nothing was found. My docs tell me I have nothing to worry about but can not explain my pains. Someone please help! How is IBC diagnosed? I am 21 years old.

1. The only sure way to diagnose is with a biopsy. Make sure you are seeing a doctor who is a cancer specialist.

2. Hormones can cause lots of weird feelings in the breast...
3. It could be a fungal infection? Ask your doctor. I've heard of this before and the woman was worried just as you are.
4. never heard of ibc. worked in medical profession for 12 years, including surgery. how old are you?
