Breast skin "orange peel" or normal occurance?
About a year ago, I had to have a 2nd trimester abortion for medical reasons. A week or so later, naturally I started to somewhat lactate, and my breasts had gotten very swollen and hard.
When it started to subside; on my left breast there was a small area where the skin had felt "thicker" - like what I'd belive to be similar to the "orange peel" effect.
There was no rash or anything, and I didn't think about it. And it has long since gone away.
Is that a sometimes naturally occuring thing when lactating? Or should I be worried it could be a sign of inflammatory breast cancer - or breast cancer in general?

- When in doubt, check it out. I would ease my fears with a doctor visit, just to be sure. The prognosis of breast cancer is so much better if detected and treated early. The odds are it is probably nothing. Good Luck and God Bless.
