Is breast cancer curable if in the early stages? if victim undergoes surgery, how long can she live?

1. My mother found her breast cancer a bit on the late side, but came through treatment very well. She is now a 25+ year survivor.
2. A breast cancer, found in the earliest stages, has a nearly 100% five year survival rate. This is why screening mammography is so important. All women should begin getting yearly mammograms in their 40s, even if they have no breast cancer symptoms. Our goal is to find a breast cancer, so early, that it cannot be felt. A breast cancer, diagnosed early, is curable.
