  1. Do you mean DYING?

    Everyone has a different chance. I have survived stage 2 breast cancer twice (I did chemo both times). My sister has also survived it (she had radiation therapy).

    It is something you would need to discuss with your oncologist (cancer doctor). They would have to go over your medical history, type of breast cancer, (yes, there are different types) your pathology report, etc.

    Here's more information:

  2. While not knowing much about it, I'll let you know what I've heard from friends who do suffer from breast cancer: Doctors have told them to cut back on red meat products. I'd go further and say don't eat any red meat. You can always make up for the iron eating many other foods, especially lentils. Also eat as much vegetables as possible, especially all the dark greens, and yellow and orange.

    Zero alcohol. Much more milk and milk products (for the vitamin D), and get much, much more of this vitamin by taking as much sun as possible. Make sure not sit for long periods of time under too much sun. But do walk and do mild exercises under the sun.

    I read recently about doctors' discovery of extreme benefits of sun on patients right before lung cancer surgery. They all did much better than others who didn't get any sun.

    I would also make emphasis again on not to eat canned or ready-made products. No hotdogs and such, either. Remember too much salt and sugar is probably the culprit (along with the artificial ingredients in every single food product) for most, if not all our illnesses!!!!

    The last I would recommend, which my just be the very best is GARLIC. I've been using it on almost every food I prepare for two sick people in my family for about two years now. You can read all the natural properties of garlic anywhere on the internet. Just type it in and read as much as you can. GARLIC, among other things serves as an antibiotic. You don't need to eat it raw, of course, but put as much as you can and want in all your meals.

    It may be an exageration on my part, but I've taken such a liking to it, that I add up to two garlic heads!!!! Of course I don't use many more ingredients, except for a few onions, and a chicken cube or two. My mom always used garlic, only a few cloves, though. I use as much as I can.
  3. Stage II is considered early detection of breast cancer. In this stage the tumor can range from 2 cm to less than 5 cm in diameter(approximately 1 to 2 inches) sometimes cancer may have spread to the lymph nodes.. No one really knows the odds of survival. Your oncologist will not give you a definite answer because they are working on trials and studies in the prognoses. Had a dear friend that found out she had breast cancer about 2 weeks before i found out about my breast cancer. Hers was the size of a pea and she had a lumpectomy and next thing you know it had spread to her brain.She only lived 4 more months. In my case I was first classed with stage II and then after all the scans and test I was up graded to stage III, they thought possibly stage IV, but lucky spots on my lungs after biopsy were classified as scar tissue. My oncologist will not tell me that I'm in remission, nor will he tell me that I can be cured. In other words he tells me that he can keep my cancer in control with hormone therapy.
  4. The next formula is only aid and considering of the time available of an oncological patient. It multiplies the remaining days according to the age of the person, by each one of the 5 important risk factors, this mathematically would be:

    Time of Life = F1 * F2 * F3 * F4 * F5.

    F1 = Age

    1 - 19 = 25000
    20 - 39 = 15000
    40 - 59 = 5000
    60 - 79 = 3000
    80 - 99 = 1000

    F2 = Cancer Estage

    0 = 1
    A or 1 = 0.80
    B or 2 = 0.70
    C or 3= 0.60
    D or 4 = 0.50

    F3 = Life style

    EXERCISE + GOOD NUTRITION + HEALTHY LIFE = 1
    EXERCISE + GOOD NUTRITION = 0.80
    SEDENTARY = 0.70
    SEDENTARY + STRESS = 0.60
    SEDENTARY + STRESS + BAD NUTRITION = 0.50

    F4 = SANGUINEOUS GROUP

    OTHERS 1
    B (RH + Ó -) = 0.80
    O (RH + Ó -) = 0.70
    AB (RH + Ó -) = 0.60
    A (RH + Ó -) = 0.50

    F5 = FAMILIAR RISKS

    0 FAMILIAR CASES (FATHER - MOTHER) = 1
    1 FAMILIAR CASES (FATHER - MOTHER) = 0.80
    BOTH FAMILIAR CASES (FATHER - MOTHER) = 0.70
    BOTH FAMILIAR CASES (FATHER - MOTHER) TO DRINK ALCOHOL = 0.60
    BOTH FAMILIAR CASES (FATHER - MOTHER) TO DRINK ALCOHOL And TO SMOKE = 0.50

  5. Chances are excellent.

    Your friend or family member should consider a plant based diet and avoid massive quantities of alcohol but I don't recommend making a massive life change if one is going to be taking chemo. . . chemo may make the patient unable to eat a lot of foods and so she should eat whatever tastes good/can keep down.

    Also, you didn't tell us about your friend's Hormone Receptor Status--i.e. is she ER+/PR+/HER2 Neu+ or negative. . . this affects courses of treatment etc. Age at diagnosis is a factor.

    Stage II is still relatively early--but one can never tell how long you'll be around. You could survive breast cancer and get hit by a bus.
