Public Comments

  1. Usually a lump in your breast (can also be in the area of your armpit), a change to the shape of your breast, a discharge from your nipple, a nipple or other parts of the breast turned inward...
    These are the main signs.
BTW - mamography can sometimes detect breast cancer before any visible signs appear.
  2. lumps around your breast, discharge from your nipples..
  3. Early stages of breast Cancer may not be painful and there may not be any symptoms at all. As the cancer grows you may start to notice changes in the breast area or underarm such as a lump. Any abnormal changes what so ever you need to seek medical attention. Some people may find a lump, swelling of part of the breast, skin irritation or dimpling, nipple pain or the nipple turning inward, redness or scaliness of the nipple or breast, nipple discharge other than breast milk or a lump in the underarm area. And if you do find some of these changes it does not necessarily mean that its breast cancer. But its best to be safe rather than sorry. I know Ive been there.
