Public Comments

  1. lumps in your breasts
  2. You have a gaint baby mouse growing out of you.

Or... a small lump and a little hair out of your nipple.
  3. if u feel ur boobs and u feel lumps
  4. Abnormal lumps. You're supposed to check everytime you're in the shower. If it's just pain it might not mean anything but if it is pain and it continues or gets worse I would see a doctor.
  5. Lump or thickening in or near the breast or in the underarm that persists through the menstrual cycle.
A mass or lump, which may feel as small as a pea.
A change in the size, shape or contour of the breast.
A blood-stained or clear fluid discharge from the nipple.
A change in the feel or appearance of the skin on the breast or nipple (dimpled, puckered, scaly or inflamed).
Redness of the skin on the breast or nipple.
A change in shape or position of the nipple
An area that is distinctly different from any other area on either breast.
A marble-like hardened area under the skin.

If you feel that you have one of these symptoms get an appointment to get it checked.
  6. Nothing is ever sure until they do a biopsy. Masses in the breast that are hard, non-tender, don't have a clear circular border and do not move are more likely to be cancer. Dimpling or skin retraction is a sign of pretty advanced cancer. Some women get irritation and redness around thier nipples called Paget's disease, it is not as common as other forms but something to be aware of.
If you are worried go see your doctor and get a mammogram or an ultrasound.
  7. There is no sure signs. Even lumps can be benign. The only way to diagnose it is to see a Dr.
  8. you find a lump in your breast(which you check for between periods, breast enlargement you have breast pain but no masses and family history of breast cancer, could be a indication to go see your dr and have him/her check you out and have a mammogram done, there really are no SURE signs of breast cancer, even if you have the above you need to see a dr and have a mammogram done,if you do have a lump it could simpily be a cyst, which they would do a biopsy to see if it contains cancer cells.go see a dr and go from there okay?dont worry til need be .god bless and take care.go see a dr about then youll know
  9. LUMPS DON'T NECESSARILY MEAN THEY'RE ALL CANCEROUS. (response to above answers)

lumps need to be examined via a biopsy (tissue sample) and microscopically examined for malignancy before you are diagnosed with cancer.

some lumps can definitely be benign.
